Product description Designed to bring vintage Marshall Amplification tone to your electric guitar, the Astoria Custom AST3H is a single channel 30W RMS amplifier head capable of powering 4-, 8-, or 16-Ohm cabinets. In addition to its three-band EQ, the AST3H features an edge control for presence in the power-amp stage and several pull-knob functions to further enhance sonic possibilities. Pull-Body thickens your sound by adding a +8 dB shelved low-frequency boost at 120 Hz and below. Pull-Brightness adds 6 dB of shelving to 4 kHz and above for a sparkling high-end. And Pull-Power reduction reduces the total output from 30W to 5W, thereby softening your overall sound. This single-channel amplifier head provides a tube-driven preamp and power-amp stage and a footswitchable +20 dB boost option, which allows you to drive the amplifier for solos and lead breaks, while two separate instrument inputs—one high and one low—provide flexibility in dealing with different types of pickups. Furthermore every element of the turret board has been handwired in England's Marshall factory to ensure the most efficient signal path. A footswitch, power cable, and dustcover are included with this amplifier head. - Edge
- This function regulates the high-frequency content of the power-amp stage, allowing for further tonal shaping
- Multiple Connections
- The AST3H features 5x 1/4" speaker jacks wired for 4-, 8-, and 16-Ohm cabinets
- Built-In Effects Loop
- A 1/4" effects loop, complete with true-bypass switch and level knob, allows you to introduce external effects straight into the amplifier's routing
