Product description The WP-2S Wireless HDMI Transmitter Receiver System with single Sony NPF970 type battery plate from Marshall Electronics features stick-style HDMI dongle transmitter that can plug directly in to the camera's HDMI port or be extended using a male-to-female HDMI cable. The system has wireless range of up to 100' line-of-sight with less than 1 millisecond of latency, and will broadcast resolutions up to 1080p60. The system supports HDMI 1.3 and is HDCP compliant, meaning it can pass copy-protected sources such as commercial Blu-ray discs.
The transmitter powers from USB bus power, meaning you will need a USB power source on hand to plug it in to. Meanwhile the receiver can either be battery-powered or powered using AC. An AC adapter comes with the system and there is also a PowerTap cable, available separately, if you want to use an external 12V DC source, such as a professional video battery system instead. - Supports Marshall Universal Battery Plates
- The Receiver can use the same battery plates as many Marshall Electronics field monitors, opening you up to a range of powering options, and the existing plate can be replaced as the batteries you use change. There is also a PowerTap cable (WP-2 Tap), available separately, for powering from an external 12V DC source
- WHDI 1.0 Protocol Wireless Technology
- By using WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface) and a 5.3 GHz carrier, the WP-2 is able to transmit uncompressed Full HD video up to 100' with less than a millisecond of latency
- Multi-Camera Friendly
- Several WP-1/WP-2 systems can be used in the same space, making the WP-2 suitable for live switching and A/V applications that require several sources of video. Each transmitter (Tx) is paired to the receiver (Rx) it came with--a single feed cannon be sent to multiple receivers
