Product description Type in customizable comfort with the Matias Ergo Pro Keyboard for Mac. A 17" bridge cable allows you to place the two sides of the keyboard in whatever position is most comfortable for you. The legs can be adjusted to tilt your keyboard at a convenient angle, and the removable palm rests support your wrists.
The Ergo Pro's key switches provide tactile feedback while still being quiet enough to use in a shared environment. Dedicated hotkeys are added for the 4 most common keyboard shortcuts - undo, cut, copy, and paste. The Function key gives you access to audio shortcuts for volume, play/pause, and next/previous track. The laser-etched keys will retain their symbols even after lengthy use, and the sculpted shape helps keep your fingers centered without slipping. Anti-Ghosting Circuitry prevents skipped and added letters, no matter how fast you type.
Three USB 2.0 ports on the Ergo Pro expand functionality, allowing you to plug in flash drives, digital cameras, a mouse, or other peripherals. No drivers are required - plug the Ergo Pro into an available USB port on your Mac, and start using it right away. - Fast, Comfortable, Quiet Typing
- The Ergo Pro's key switches deliver generous amounts of tactile feedback, while providing enough resistance to support the weight of your hands. Matias Quiet Click mechanical switches are designed to be quiet enough to use in office environments without disturbing coworkers.
- Navigation, Audio, and Shortcut Keys
- The navigation keys on the Ergo Pro are arranged in their traditional pattern, but are laid out horizontally along the bottom row. This makes them both familiar and easy to use, while being more ergonomic. 4 dedicated hotkeys are added for common keyboard shortcuts - undo, cut, copy, and paste. And by holding down the Fn key, you gain access to shortcuts for Volume Up/Down, Mute, Pause/Play, Next Track, and Previous Track.
- Laser-Etched, Anti-Ghosting Keys
- The keys on the Ergo Pro are laser etched - burned into the keys with a laser - so they won't wear off and leave you searching for the symbol you need. The key tops are also sculpted to fit the curve of your fingertips, to keep your fingers from sliding out of home position. And thanks to Anti-Ghosting Circuitry, no matter how fast you type, the Ergo Pro can keep up without ghosting - no letters missing, and no additional letters that you didn't type.
- Customizable Positioning
- The 17" bridge cable allows you to set up the split keyboard at whatever distance is most comfortable for you. Leave your keyboard flat, or use the leg supports for 9° tenting and 4.5° negative tilt. Big and comfortable palm supports are also included, but can be removed if desired.
