Product description The Matrix Switch Corporation MSC-DE1616L AES Digital Audio Routing Switcher is based on an all digital signal path that produces constant output amplitude with reduced noise.
The AES-3id standard defines a 75Ω BNC electrical variant of AES3. This can use the same cabling, patching, and infrastructure as analogue or digital video, and is thus common in the broadcast industry. The AES-3id standard is also sometimes referred to as SMPTE 276M.
The AES Digital Audio Routing Switcher features 16 inputs and 16 outputs and 1RU size. It requires 15VAC power to operate. The control panel of this unit is placed in the front and features a local control. It has buttons on the front side for controlling the inputs and outputs of the unit. Note: This unit is usually combined with other Matrix Switch Corporation video routers (sold separately).
