Product description The MAY Miking System MBM-2 BD Shockount for Bass Drum allows you to capture the sound of your bass drum from inside the drum; the origin of its distinct tone. The patented MAY internal miking system provides maximum presence and isolation from ambient sound. The integrated shockmount is designed to cut down on low end rumble caused by vibrations, that may otherwise end up in your audio recordings.
The mount simply plugs into your microphone and attaches using a standard mic clip, and can be permanently drilled into the shell or mounted via an optional non-drill AVC (audio vent connector) that utilizes the existing vent hole. Internal miking provides added isolation for those who want to control their sound, both in the studio and on the stage.
