Product description Designed for easy transport and quick set up, Meade Instruments' Adventure Scope 60mm f/6 Refractor Telescope is a complete observation rig for making observations of the Moon and planets at night, and to serve as a conventional spotting scope during the day. This iteration of the scope features a respectable 60mm aperture achromatic doublet refractor optical tube assembly (OTA) with a short 360mm focal length and fast f/6 focal ratio. Its 1.25" rack-and-pinion focuser accepts any 1.25" accessories like the two included eyepieces and 90° erect-image diagonal.Supporting the OTA and accessories is a manual alt-az mount with a quick release shoe for fast set up and breakdown of the OTA. The mount is attached to a photo-style tripod that features an extendable center column with a hook on the bottom to keep bags off the ground or to add weight for increased stability and vibration-reduction. Meade includes a backpack to safely store and easily carry all the components in this kit including the OTA and tripod, with room for all the included accessories. - Optical Performance
