Product description B&H assembled the Meade Instruments LX200-ACF 305mm f/10 Catadioptric GoTo Telescope Kit to give you a complete and powerful, near research-grade astronomic observation system, with a way to safely transport and carry the optical tube assembly (OTA) and mount. The kit consists of the large-aperture OTA, dual-tine motorized alt-azimuth fork mount, the AutoStar II computer hand controller, and a heavy-duty stainless steel tripod to support it all. To get you observing right out of the box, the kit comes with a finderscope, eyepiece, and diagonal. - Meade LX200-ACF 305mm f/10 Catadioptric GoTo Telescope Meade Instruments combines their LX200-ACF 305mm f/10 Catadioptric GoTo Telescope with the massive Heavy-Duty Field Tripod to give you a complete near-research-grade observation rig to explore our solar system and beyond. This system comes with the large 12" optical tube assembly (OTA), a motorized GPS-enabled fork mount, the AutoStar II GoTo hand controller, a solid tripod to support it all, plus several accessories to get you observing right out of the box. It is ideal for shorter-exposure astrophotography. For long-exposure techniques, the optional equatorial wedge is recommended to avoid the field rotation that occurs while tracking in the conventional alt-azimuth configuration. UPC: 709942500929
- JMI Telescopes CASELX12R10 Telescope Carrying Case The JMI CASELX12R10 Telescope Carrying Case (Black) is a molded ABS plastic with die-cut foam lining and compartments for telescope, eyepieces, finder scope and accessories. It is designed to carry a Meade LX90GPS 12", LX200 (non-GPS) 12", LX200GPS 12", LX200R 12", LX400-ACF 10" or RCX400 telescope that can be stowed with the nose between the mount forks. If your model must be stowed with the nose up, it will not fit in this case. To fit in the case, the finderscope must be removed and stored separately in the provided cutout. A vinyl cover for the finder scope is included. There is a removable cover (no hinge) with six lockable latches, it is removed completely to insert or remove the telescope. The case has four steel-reinforced handles and is designed to be maneuvered like a wheelbarrow with two retractable handle bars and two 10" pneumatic wheels.
