Product description Designed and engineered specifically for use with monochrome imaging cameras, the Meade Instruments RGB/IR Imaging Filter Set gives you three 1.25" filters: one in each of the three primary colors, plus an infrared (IR) blocking filter. This filter set enables tri-color imaging using the individual red, green, and blue filters; and the three resulting images, when stacked via image processing software, form a color image of your subject. The IR filter prevents infrared light from reaching the camera's sensor resulting in clearer and sharper images. Each filter is parfocal with each other, eliminating the need to adjust the focus after switching colors, and can fit on most standard 1.25" eyepiece cameras, or filter wheels or bars to facilitate quick changes. The rings are aluminum with a matte-black anodized finish, and the filter lenses are made of 3mm-thick optical glass with high-transmission broad-band multi-coatings. - Red Filter
