Product description Designed specifically for their LX-series of telescopes, the Meade Instruments Variable Projection Tele-Extender allows for different focal ratios when using eyepiece-projection photography techniques. It attaches to the threads of the #07182 1.25" eyepiece holder that comes standard with LX telescopes, and is required, and available separately, for proper use. Once installed on the visual back, a 15 to 32mm focal length 1.25" eyepiece is used to project the image, or used without an eyepiece for prime focus photography. For prime focus, a brand-specific SLR camera T-ring is required.
