Product description A unique telephoto macro lens offering greater-than-life-size magnification, the Sony E-mount MK-85mm f/2.8 Macro from Meike features a distinct design for working with close-up subjects while also being a viable option for portraiture and other subjects. A dedicated magnification ring can be used to achieve between a 1:1 and 1.5:1 magnification with a 9.8" minimum focusing distance for macro shooting, and at the 1:1 position, infinity focus is available for working with distant subjects. Individual lens elements feature a multi-layer nano coating to control surface reflections, flare, and ghosting in order to realize a high degree of contrast and color accuracy, even when working in bright and backlit conditions. Additionally, the lens's manual focus design incorporates engraved focus distance and magnification indexes to aid in focusing. - This 85mm f/2.8 lens is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, however is also suitable for APS-C models where it will provide a 127.5mm equivalent focal length.
- Unique macro design incorporates a dedicated magnification ring to extend the rear segment of the lens for achieving a greater-than-life-size 1.5:1 maximum magnification to suit working with close-up subjects. A 1:1 life-size position permits working with subjects as close as 9.8" while still retaining infinity focus.
- Multi-layer nano coating has been applied in order to suppress ghosting and flare for increased contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
- Manual focus design along with a manual aperture ring offer precise control over both focus and exposure.
- All-metal construction is durable and both magnification and focus distance scales have been engraved on the lens barrel.
