Product description MUnison from MeldaProduction is a powerful plug-in that works as a doubler/unison effect and smart harmonizer and is highly effective on vocals, bass, trumpet, saxophone or any monophonic instrument. The sound can range from a subtle shifting of pitches to achieve a realistic unison effect, to harmonies based on the scale of your choosing.The plug-in can vary several parameters including pitch, stereo placement, formants, and delay. The parameter changes are generated automatically for each voice to maintain a simple user interface, but can extend to up to 50 voices. Any parameter can be modulated from sources such as an LFO, audio level follower, envelope generator, randomizer, or pitch detector. Additionally, a randomization button generates random settings for discovering happy accidents. - Advanced User Interface
- MUnison features an advanced GUI engine, which is freely resizable and stylable. It also lets you choose between knobs, sliders, or buttons; allowing it to look ancient/vintage or super-modern and futuristic.
- Visualization Engine with Classic Meters and Time Graphs
- The plug-in can display the measurements of all relevant values using classic meters, or it can even show them in time using the time graphs.
- Four Versatile Modulators
- MUnison provides 4 fully-featured modulators which can control any set of parameters including other modulators. Each modulator works as an LFO, level follower, MIDI/audio triggered ADSR enveloper, randomizer, or pitch detector, or even a combination, and can listen to the plug-in's side-chain input.
- Adjustable Oscillators
- Every oscillator utilizes a versatile algorithm to provide a mix of predefined oscillator shapes and custom waveforms edited by the MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), a step sequencer, and several methods for algorithmic post processing. A harmonic mode is also provided, which lets you control the harmonic content instead of oscillator shape and is especially useful for high frequency oscillators.
- Four Multiparameters
- The four multiparameters can change several parameters at once with a single control. This simplifies automation and allows you to morph between banks of settings.
- M/S, Single Channel, and Eight Channel Surround Processing
- The software can handle not only mono and stereo signals, but also mid/side encoding for stereo field processing, separate left & right channels, separate mid or side signals, and up to 8 channels of surround audio.
- Smart Randomization
- The smart randomization algorithm wisely selects good-sounding combinations of parameters. It can even randomize modulators for you.
- Automatic Gain Compensation
- The automatic gain compensation quickly adapts to current settings and ensures the output sounds as loud as the input.
- Safety Limiter
- The included brick wall limiter ensures the output stays below 0dB and automatically prevents your equipment and your ears from potential danger.
- Synchronization to Host Tempo
- Every oscillator and modulator in the plug-in can automatically synchronize to the host or operate in free running mode.
- MIDI Controllers with MIDI Learn
- MUnison contains a powerful MIDI processor which listens to MIDI controllers and MIDI keyboards and controls any parameters in real-time.
