Product description Meopta's 1-6x24 MeoStar R2 RD Riflescope combines state-of-the-art fully multi-coated optics with and a 4C illuminated reticle. The lenses feature a number of enhancements only present in high-end optics such as the MeoLux proprietary ion-assisted anti-reflection multi-coatings that provide unparalleled, 99.8% per lens, transmission of light and also reduce glare from stray light. With the MeoDrop proprietary hydrophobic coating the optical surfaces are also protected from collecting excessive water, grease, and oily stains. For extending durability and maintaining impeccable image quality, the outer surfaces are also treated with MeoShield anti-scratch coating that reduces susceptibility to scratches and abrasions. To maximize the effectiveness of this carefully engineered optical system, the scope is configured with the illuminated 4C reticle. Borrowing its pattern from the German #4 reticle, it features three bold posts, a brilliant red center target dot, and a thin crosshair. The RedZone 8 Illumination rheostat offers eight brightness levels to achieve optimal reticle brightness for night or day applications.
To add durability to the optic, the housing is made of high-quality aluminum alloy and offers a submersible waterproof and fogproof performance. The 30mm maintube is crafted from a single piece of alloy and offers finger-operated MeoTrak II posi-click windage and elevation turrets with audible clicks and precise, repeatable, and accurate adjustments. The MeoClick tactile disc turrets provide quick-and-easy reticle adjustments. - 4C Illuminated Reticle
