Product description Meopta engineered the 1.7-10x42 MeoStar R2 Riflescope as a precision hunting optic, aimed at dramatically improving your performance in low light. Its optical system features elements that are not only ground and polished with high precision to deliver superior performance and high edge-to-edge clarity, but also treated with layers of optical coatings like MeoLux for high transmission and low glare, MedShield for anti-scratch performance, and MeoDrop for hydrophobic and oleophobic action. The second focal plane of the optical system contains a RD BDC 3 illuminated reticle to provide you with an accurate aiming reference. To compensate for ballistics and winds, the turret system offers 88 MOA of horizontal and vertical adjustment ranges and 1/4 MOA (0.7 cm at 100 m) impact point correction.
To match the precision and quality of the optical system, the housing is manufactured from a strong and durable aluminum alloy and treated externally with Meopta's ELOX scratch- and abrasion-resistant anodized finish. It features a single-piece 30mm maintube that is filled with nitrogen and sealed for fogproof and waterproof performance. Additional highlights of the construction are a MeoQuick fast-focus eyepiece for instant zooming, MeoTrack II posi-click windage and elevation turrets with audible reassurance for precise corrections, and a robust erector system for providing a maximum holding force and enduring heavy recoils. - Optical Performance
