Product description Meopta positions the 3-12x50 MeoTac RD Riflescope as an incredibly versatile, compact, and combat-proven optic that is designed for mid-to-long-range shooting. Its optical system has many levels of proprietary enhancements such a MeoLux, MeoShield, and MeoDrop coatings, whose purpose is not only to deliver 99.8% total transmission but also to protect exterior lenses from scratches and water/oil stains. It also offers Twilight Optimized Optics (TO2), a special optical element optimization process that maximizes performance in low light. To further improve usefulness in challenging light conditions, the scope has a wide 50mm objective lens. For fast and accurate target acquisitions, this riflescope offers a 1st focal plane MilDot 3 RD reticle. Its purpose is to help you excel at this task, and it has all the right ingredients such as four thin posts, an ultrafine milling crosshair, and a brilliant red target dot. The dot features Meopta's RD illumination system, which generates a radiant red dot with seven brightness levels for any lighting conditions, ranging from extremely low to daylight.
To match the precision and quality of the optical system, the housing is manufactured from a strong and durable aluminum alloy with an ELOX scratch- and abrasion-resistant anodized finish and has a 34mm maintube. It is filled with nitrogen and sealed for fog and waterproof performance. Additional highlights of the construction are a MeoQuick fast-focus eyepiece for instant zooming, Zero Stop tactical-style windage and elevation with graduations, and a robust erector system for providing a maximum holding force and enduring heavy recoils. - Optical Performance
