Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More zatsyasc Optimized for low-light performance, the Meopta 8x56 MeoPro HD Binocular sports a moderate magnification and massive objective lenses that draw in copious amounts of light while increasing the exit pupil to an impressive 7mm to completely cover pupils when fully dilated as it gets dark. Complementing the power and objectives is extra low-dispersion glass and the proprietary MeoBright optical coatings that further boost light transmission while improving color rendition, sharpness, brightness, and contrast. Keeping the magnification to 8x helps to extend the field of view to almost wide angle while minimizing visible hand shake.Engineered for ergonomics, the chassis is made of a lightweight magnesium alloy that helps to offset the heavy objectives without sacrificing strength and stability. The magnesium is wrapped in a protective textured rubber armor that provides a slip-resistant grip when it's cold or wet. Its optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof in extreme weather, and tethered objective lens covers and a one-piece eyepiece rainguard allow users to react quickly to changing conditions. Weighing in at over 36 ounces, long glassing sessions may lead to fatigue, so Meopta made the MeoPro tripod mountable with an optional adapter. - Optical Performance
