Product description Transform your Pentax Q-mount camera into a much more capable and versatile system by mounting Nikon F lenses using this 0.5x Speed Booster from Metabones. Using five elements of ultra-high index tantalum-based glass in four groups to increase the angle of view by 0.5x, this adapter can transform the capabilities of adapted lenses to more closely mimic performance of their native format. This reduces the apparent crop factor of an adapted lens and simultaneously improves sharpness and increases the maximum aperture by about 1 f/stop. In addition, this manual model can accept Nikon G-type lenses and has an integrated aperture ring with 8 stops of adjustment for changing the aperture of the lens.
To make the adapting process easier and more secure, this adapter uses a spring leaf design for the lens mount. Also, it is made of brass with a chromium plating for durability. Additionally, the adapter has a black matte interior to prevent reflections and comes with a detachable Arca-type compatible tripod foot to lessen strain on the camera's mount.
