Product description Attach the Metabones PL to Sony E-Mount T CINE Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x to use select full-frame PL lenses on your APS-C Sony E-mount camera or camera with APS-C capture mode, and take advantage of a near full-frame field-of-view and depth-of-field. The advanced optical design of five elements in four groups comprised of tantalum glass reduces the projected image circle while maintaining high optical sharpness and minimizing aberrations. Internal flaring is reduced by the application of internal anti-reflective black flocking. Because of the optical block inside, this adapter will only be compatible with lenses designed for full-frame sensor coverage, like the Zeiss Compact Primes. Note: Due to the positioning of the optical elements used in this adapter, compatibility is limited to lenses whose rear element and mount won't interfere with the optics. See the Metabones website for an updated list of compatible lenses. - Allows users to adapt a full-frame PL Mount cinema lens to an APS-C/Super35 Sony E-mount camera or a full-frame camera in APS-C mode.
- Advanced 5-element-in-4 group optical construction uses high-index tantalum-based glass that increases the angle of view of a full-frame lens by 0.71x and increases the maximum aperture by 1 stop. This effectively compensates for the 1.5x crop factor of APS-C cameras and provides an image similar to that of a full-frame lens on a full-frame camera.
- Positive-lock lens mount provides extra security when attaching large lenses.
- Internal felt flocking prevents reflections.
- Removable Arca-type compatible tripod foot with 1/4"-20 thread.
