Mounted directly to the hot shoe of compatible Nikon cameras, this flash is designed to be easy to use and it also supports i-TTL for automatic metering. With a moderate power provided by the guide number of 131' at ISO 100 and a zoom head of 28-80mm, this flash will work with a range of subject matter and environments. Along with these capabilities, the flash's head can tilt upwards 90° as well as rotate both left and right to provide options for bouncing the light. An AF assist light is available as well to help with low-light shooting and it runs on four AA batteries which provide a recycle time of about 10 seconds.
