Product description An incredibly fast short telephoto prime, the black, Leica M-mount Nocturnus 75mm f/0.95 from Meyer-Optik Gorlitz is a unique lens mixing impressive speed with a flattering field of view. Well-suited for portraiture, the f/0.95 maximum aperture allows you to work with extremely shallow depth of field for isolating subjects, and a 15-blade diaphragm also contributes a pleasing, rounded bokeh quality. The five elements, five groups optical design uses coated Schott glass to produce vivid sharpness and color rendering in a variety of lighting conditions. Additionally, the lens has a manual focus design for working with subjects as close as 3' away and its manual aperture ring is de-clicked for smooth, silent aperture adjustment. - Portrait-length prime is designed for full-frame and 35mm Leica M-mount rangefinder cameras. This lens will not couple to the rangefinder focusing system on Leica M-type cameras; manual focusing must be done using live view or zone focusing techniques.
- Exceptionally bright f/0.95 maximum aperture excels in low-light conditions and also allows for control over depth of field for isolating subject matter using selective focus.
