Product description Inspired by the Cooke-Triplet from over 100 years ago, this Trioplan 35+ from Meyer-Optik Gorlitz is a Micro Four Thirds-mount 35mm f/2.8 lens delivering a distinct and classic image quality with truly recognizable bokeh. Based on the traditional triplet optical design, but featuring two additional elements to produce a nostalgic quality with a wider field of view, this lens generates strong colors and high central sharpness, and also helps realize the distinct "soap bubble" bokeh that made this lens's predecessor so famous. This modern version, however, uses coated Schott glass for increased contrast and color neutrality, and has a lightweight, durable aluminum-alloy housing. - Compact prime is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides a 70mm equivalent focal length.
- Based on a traditional triplet optical design, this lens uses two additional elements to realize a well-corrected image quality that still retains a unique, classic image quality coupled with distinct "soap bubble" bokeh.
- Coated Schott glass is used for high clarity and contrast, as well as reduced lens flare and ghosting.
- Manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 11.8" away.
- Twelve AR-coated diaphragm blades help produce an artistic and distinctly circular bokeh quality.
- Anodized aluminum housing is both lightweight and durable, and also contributes to a smooth manual focusing action.
