Product description The MM-CBM-MONO Classic Mono Battery / Filter Module from Microphone Madness is a self-contained durable plastic unit that provides an attached microphone (sold separately) with +9 VDC additional power to make full use of the microphone's dynamic range in applications that involve recording higher (SPL) sound pressure levels without distortion.
The battery module can be used in conjunction with mic or line inputs. It has no bass roll off (bass reduction) which makes it suitable for applications where the recorded sound has little to moderately loud bass content.
The included 9V battery offers up to 1,000 hours of operation. The module also features an easy to access battery compartment for quick replacement of batteries without the need for any tools. - Constructed of durable ABS plastic
