Product description The patina gray 90th anniversary Microtech Gefell CMV 563 / M 7 S is a reissue of the vintage CMV 563, a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone well suited for reproduction of vocals and a variety of instruments in home, project, and commercial recording studios. The M 7 S gold-plated PVC condenser capsule offers a directional cardioid polar pattern for reduced pickup of off-axis sound, and yields a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range with a gentle presence boost from 2 to 7 kHz. Thanks to a modular capsule design and the supplied G/B bayonet adapter, other capsules such as the vintage M 9 may be used.Utilization of an EF86 pentode tube in triode configuration imparts warmth and fullness without sacrificing high end. The microphone's 7-pin Tuchel jack connects to an external power supply unit, which offers a balanced, low-impedance XLR output for compatibility with most mic preamps. The CMV 563 / M 7 S includes a shockmount, power supply, 7-pin tube mic cable, and wooden storage case. - 90th anniversary reissue of the vintage Microtech Gefell CMV 563
