Product description Giving you everything you'd need to measure characteristics of the audio surrounding you, the i436 Microphone Kit from MicW includes a measurement microphone, a windscreen, a clip, a 6.6' extension cable, a split cable (allowing you to monitor sound with any pair of 3.5mm-terminated headphones), and a mounting/carrying tube. The microphone's sensitivity and frequency response are calibrated at the factory before shipping, and thus, with this mic and a corresponding app, you can measure the SPL and frequency content of speech, instruments, live sound signals, and even the space surrounding you. With this kit, you should be able to acquire SPL and RTA readings with ease, doing so in a variety of places (mounted on your collar or on a tripod, for instance), and all whilst monitoring the sound on your mobile device. - i436 Professional Class 2 Microphone for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch As an alternative to the internal microphone on your iPad, iPhone or iPad touch, consider using the i436 Professional Class 2 Microphone for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch from Mic-W.
