Product description The Middle Atlantic SRB-3-BGR-3824 Seismic-Certified Riser Base (3-Bay, Black) is an excellent choice for performing field rough-in procedure prior to arrival of your BGR racks and enclosures, in environments that require seismic certification, The riser base serves as a lower cable chase for passing cables between racks in multi-bay installations. Note: This riser base requires the use of BGR-Z4/BGR-ISO-Z4 seismic brackets. - Used for field rough-in prior to the arrival of BGR racks and enclosures
- Designed for use in critical or high-risk installations in locations with the highest level of seismicity and also in top floor or rooftop installations
- Seismic Certified Riser Bases comply with 2007 & 2010 CBC; 2006, 2009 & 2012 IBC; ASCE 7-05 (2005 Edition) & ASCE 7-10 (2010 Edition) and the 2006 & 2009 editions of NFPA 5000 for use in areas of high seismicity, Seismic Use Group III, Zone 4 or Seismic Design Category (SDC) "D" with lateral force requirements
- Riser base acts as a lower cable chase for passing cables between racks in multi-bay installations
- 3-Bay configuration with weight capacity of 2450 lb (1102.5 kg)
