Product description The MXT400VP3 Bundle from Midland features the MXT400 MicroMobile 15-channel two-way radio, MXTA6 antenna mounting bracket, MXTA8 20' antenna cord, and MXTA11 6 dB gain antenna. The 40 W GMRS radio includes a push-to-talk microphone and built-in speaker, and can be mounted either under the dash or vertically on the center console of your vehicle. The stainless-steel MXTA11 antenna quadruples the signal strength of the MicroMobile radio. - MicroMobile MXT400 15-Channel Two-Way GMRS Radio Designed to be used in your car, truck, RV, or UTV, the MicroMobile MXT400 15-Channel Two-Way GMRS Radio includes a push-to-talk microphone and built-in speaker. Intended for mounting either under the dash or vertically on the center console, the radio comes with a mounting bracket for quick installation and can either be hardwired to the vehicle's electrical system or via the included 12 VDC adapter. An external speaker jack in the rear of the unit allows you to attach an external speaker (available separately).
The MXT400 features 15 GMRS channels and transmits using up to 40W of power via an adjustable power switch (Hi/Mi/Lo). 142 privacy codes allow you to secure any channel, while monitor mode lets you keep an ear on a selected channel. To increase transmission distance, the radio features eight selectable repeater channels (channels 15-22). The backlit LCD screen allows for use even in low-light conditions, and the front knobs provide a quick and easy way to adjust the volume and channel. - 15-channel GMRS radio with push-to-talk microphone
- Time Out Timer (TOT) function limits the transmission time of each PTT activation
- Auto Power-Off (APO) function shuts the radio off after a predetermined amount of idle time
- Backlit LCD display for easy visibility
- Squelch control and Voice Compander Function help reduce background noise
- Transmit (TX) function allows you to disable the transmitter section of the radio to use the radio as only a receiver unit
- Talk Around (Talk) function allows you to communicate directly with radios (available separately) in your group when the repeater is not activated or out of range
- Monitor function, keypad lock, adjustable power, and call alert tone
- Built-in speaker and external speaker jack
- Operates on UHF band frequencies and is compatible with other UHF radios with the same channels
