Its legs are made from metal and coated with silicon for protection and to prevent it from slipping on smooth surfaces. The Splat CSC is technically a quintapod, and its five legs are bendable and poseable so that it can be mounted to a variety of objects such as a pipe, ski pole, or tree branch. The Splat CSC is intended for use with mirrorless cameras, or other action or compact cameras with a 1/4"-20 mount.
