Its legs are made from metal and coated with silicon for protection and to prevent it from slipping on smooth surfaces. The Splat GoPro is technically a quintapod, and its five legs are bendable and poseable so that it can be mounted to a variety of objects such as a pipe, ski pole, or tree branch. Both a GoPro mount and a 1/4"-20 mount are included to attach most action cameras, or other compact cameras or compatible gear. One of the legs has a hole on the end, allowing you to attach the 1/4"-20 screw and camera to the end of that leg, or to hang the Splat from a nail or hook for unique mounting angles.
