Product description The matched pair of Miktek C7e Large-Diaphragm, Multi-Pattern FET Condenser Microphone builds upon the success of the original C7 with improved quality switches, a more rugged body, and an upgraded shockmount. - C7e Large-Diaphragm, Multi-Pattern FET Condenser Microphone The C7e Large-Diaphragm, Multi-Pattern FET Condenser Microphone from Miktek can be used as a professional studio recording microphone and is designed for capturing vocals, amplifier cabinets, and a wide variety of instruments. The C7e utilizes the MK7 capsule, featuring dual 1" diaphragms made using 5-micron Mylar with a 0.4-micron layer of evaporated gold. Diaphragms are then precisely tensioned, mounted to carefully tuned backplates, and finally set back-to-back, with electronic isolation, to create the finished capsule.
Designed around the AMI T7 transformer, the head amplifier features a unique circuit that allows the engineer to switch the capsule-bias voltage from 48 to 60V. This proprietary circuit implementation essentially provides the mic with two voices, allowing you to choose between a classic and modern microphone. - Individual serialized frequency-response graph
- MK7 dual 1.0" capsule with 5-micron mylar and evaporated-gold diaphragms
- Cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 patterns
- High-pass filter and -10 dB pad switches
- Variable capsule-bias voltage from 48 to 60V
- AMI T7 transformer for clean output
- Includes wood presentation case with swivel mount, shockmount, and rugged aluminum carrying case
