Product description The versatile MK300 from Miktek is a multi-pattern FET condenser microphone designed to capture vocals, acoustic instruments, drum overheads, and amplified instruments in professional or project studios. The MK300 combines a capsule built with dual 1" diaphragms coated with a layer of evaporated gold and a custom-designed Miktek T-301 output transformer. Together they produce a frequency response with full bottom-end, crystal-clear top-end, and open midrange which is reminiscent of sought-after vintage microphones. Other features include switchable cardioid, figure-8, and omnidirectional polar patterns, a switchable low-cut filter at 100 Hz to help reduce rumble, and a switchable 10 dB pad for distortion-free recording of very loud sound sources associated with proximity miking. The rugged die-cast metal construction and sleek, black finish protect the microphone from the rigors of professional recording. Included is a swivel mount, a shockmount, and a vinyl carry case. - FET condenser microphone with cardioid, figure-8, and omnidirectional polar patterns
