Product description The Milestone Husky M50 is a 2U form factor, rack-mounted hybrid network video recorder. It is designed for video surveillance and features an NVR-optimized version of the XProtect Professional video management software. The NVR has a built-in digital encoder, which enables you to use it with both analog and IP cameras simultaneously. The HDMI and DVI video-out ports provide options for monitors, while four USB ports allow a mouse or devices like external hard drives to be connected. It features 16GB RAM and 8 x 2TB HDDs.
With Milestone's XProtect Web Client you can log into the Husky anywhere you have an internet connection. For total access, Milestone offers a mobile app for Android and iOS devices. This mobile app gives you the ability to watch a live view, control outputs, play recorded video, control PTZ cameras, or trigger outputs and events from your smartphone or tablet. - Integrated encoder that can handle video from both analog and IP cameras
- Interactive and multi-layered maps provide a graphical overview of the surveillance installation for prompt response
- Alarm Manager is integrated with the map function for a consolidated overview of security and system alarms
- Advanced video search tools quickly locate recordings for use as high-quality evidence
- Multi-channel, two-way audio for message broadcasts or direct communications
- Automatic camera discovery detects and configures any newly added cameras
- Configuration wizards guide users through installation with just a few clicks
- Access video remotely for faster response to incidents
- Smoother video performance and up to 75 percent reduced CPU load with hardware accelerated decoding
