Product description SurCode Decoder for DTS-HD for QuickTime from Minnetonka offers QuickTime users the ability to playback DTS stream types for quality control and sync check, prior to disc authoring. All encoded DTS file types can be played back, including DTSHD Master Audio, DTS-HD High Resolution, DTS Digital Surround, DTS Express, and DTS Music Disc streams utilizing the familiar QuickTime Player application. The application is included with every license of SurCode Encoder for DTS-HD for Compressor, but is also available for purchase separately. This makes it easy to add additional playback systems for production. - Fully certified audio decoder for QuickTime for quality control and sync check prior to disc authoring
- Plays back all DTS and DTS-HD file types, with up to 7.1 channels, within the QuickTime player
- Real-time decode and play back of .dtshd, .cpt, and DTS-encoded .wav files
- Share your own audio productions with other users of the SurCode Decoder for DTS-HD with bit for bit accuracy
- Listeners can enjoy lossless DTS-HD Master Audio straight from their Mac

- DTS-HD Master Audio, lossless "bit for bit" variable bit-rate - identical to the studio master
- DTS-HD High Resolution Audio at constant bit-rates from 2046 kbps up to 5760 kbps
- DTS Digital Surround at constant bit-rates up to 1509 kbps for Blu-ray Disc, DVD-V and DVD-A, 1234 kbps for DTS Music Discs
- DTS Express for Blu-ray Secondary Audio offering mono, stereo and 5.1 stream types. Data rates range from 48 kbps to 256 kbps, depending on the channel count
Channel Layout Support - Up to 7.1 discrete channels for Primary Audio for Blu-ray Disc
- Up to 5.1 discrete channels for DTS Express for Blu-ray Disc
- Up to 6.1 discrete channels for DVD-V and DVD-A
- Up to 6.1 discrete channels for DTS Music Disc (CD)
