Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More Designed for the outdoor enthusiast or sightseer who is constantly on the move, Minox's 10x25 BV Binoculars have an ergonomic form factor that makes them comfortable in your hand while providing the performance needed for picking out architectural details, hiking, or birding. To offset the limited light-gathering ability of the objectives and increase image brightness, Minox phase-corrected the roof prisms and treated the optics with their proprietary M* anti-reflection coatings. These produce high-contrast images with neutral color rendition so colors appear more true and natural.To help reduce weight – and therefore user fatigue – without sacrificing strength, Minox employed an open-bridge/dual-hinge configuration. This also provides a full-handed grip that helps maintain control in cold and wet conditions. The chassis is made of a strong and durable polycarbonate material, and the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled to make them water and fogproof, allowing them to handle extreme temperature and weather conditions. Weighing in at just 13 ounces, the BV is light enough to hold and use one-handed, and small enough to easily fit in a pocket, pack, or purse. - Optical Performance
