Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More Engineered for performance and comfort, the Minox 10x52 BL HD Binocular strikes a nice balance of form and function. Optically, several technologies, including low dispersion glass elements, fully multi-coated optics, and phase-corrected roof prisms work together to produce bright and clear high-contrast images with true color fidelity. When coupled with the relatively low magnification, over-sized objectives, long eye relief, and wide exit pupil, users will be presented with a panoramic and immersive observational experience. The large objectives and wide apparent angle of view help to limit the appearance of hand-shake that is common with higher magnification optics, and extends the usability from pre-dawn to dusk, and under dense forest canopies.Complementing the optical performance are design details that will make this a binocular that can be comfortably used for long observation sessions. It starts with a lightweight polycarbonate chassis that is resistant to expansion and contraction caused by extreme temperature changes which can cause the optical components to move out of alignment over time, resulting in an inability to achieve a sharp focus. The chassis is wrapped in a protective rubber armoring that provides a slip-resistant grip, while its center bridge is open to provide more surface area for a more secure hold - especially in cold and wet conditions.
