Product description Made in collaboration with MiNT, the Rolleiflex Instant Kamera is a twin lens reflex camera designed for use with FUJIFILM INSTAX Mini film. Celebrating 90 years of Rolleiflex TLRs, this camera recalls of the essential attributes of the classic camera system, including fully manual exposure control, the distinct waist-level viewfinder, and of course the twin lens configuration. The 61mm f/5.6 taking lens features a triplet optical design with three aspherical elements for sharp rendering, and the f/5.6 maximum aperture suits working with shallow depth of field techniques. This camera also affords a broad range of creative exposure control, including timed shutter speeds from 1 to 1/500 sec, bulb shooting for up to 10 seconds, a choice of aperture settings from f/5.6 to f/22, and a creatively-shaped f/bokeh setting can also be used to produce distinctly-shaped out-of-focus highlights when using selective focus techniques. Also, manual focus control lets you photograph subjects as close as 1.6' away.
Central to the Rolleiflex aesthetic is the waist-level viewfinder, used for composing and focusing, that incorporates a Fresnel screen for improved brightness along with an anti-glare coating to reduce surface reflections. A flip-up magnifier is integrated for more accurate focusing. The camera's design is also characterized by its inclusion of an electronic flash, which is located above the viewing lens, to provide additional illumination to a scene, and an ambient light meter can be used for accurately determining exposure settings. - Accepts INSTAX Mini instant film to produce credit card-sized prints.
- Triplet 61mm f/5.6 lens features aspherical elements to reduce spherical aberrations for sharper, clearer imagery.
- Manual focus control is available from 1.6' to infinity.
- Waist-level viewfinder incorporates a Fresnel screen for increased brightness and an anti-glare coating offers improved viewing clarity. Additionally, a flip-up magnifier also aids in critical manual focusing.
- Manual exposure control is possible, with shutter speed adjustment from 1-1/500 sec, or up to 10 seconds in Bulb mode, and aperture settings are available from f/5.6 to f/22. Additionally, a +/- 1 EV exposure compensation setting can also be used for creatively over- or under-exposing imagery.
- Multiple exposure mode lets layer exposures within a single frame for an unlimited number of shots.
- A unique non-circular f/bokeh setting is available to produce creatively-shaped out-of-focus highlights.
- A built-in ambient light meter is used to ensure consistent and accurate exposure results.
- An electronic flash is incorporated into the front of the camera to provide additional illumination when working in difficult lighting conditions.
