Product description A fast prime providing a slightly wider than normal perspective, the FreeWalker 24mm f/1.7 Lens from Mitakon Zhongyi is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras, where it provides a 48mm equivalent focal length. The bright f/1.7 maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also affords increased control over depth of field and focus position for shallow depth of field photography. Extra-low dispersion glass has been incorporated into the optical design to control aberrations and distortions for increased clarity and color accuracy while a metal lens barrel and mount provide enhanced durability and handling during use. The lens is also characterized by its manual focus design, along with distance and depth of field scales, along with the ability to focus as closely as 5.9" away for working with close-up subjects. Combining the bright maximum aperture, manual focus control, and an advanced optical design, this lens' natural perspective is ideally suited to everyday use for both still and video applications. - Slightly wider than normal 24mm prime is compatible with mirrorless Micro Four Thirds digital cameras where it will provide a 48mm equivalent focal length.
