Product description The mLogic mTape LTO-6 Thunderbolt 3 Drive archives data from Thunderbolt 3-equipped systems by featuring two Thunderbolt 3 ports and supporting LTO-6 tape drives, which offer up to 2.5TB of storage space and over a 30-year shelf life. For performance, data transfers to the drive at rates of up to 160 MB/s. The mTape LTO-6 is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems as well as industry leading LTO archiving and media management software programs. Moreover, an mLogic LTFS utility program is included to create an exact replica of your data. - Thunderbolt 3 Connectivity
- A LTO tape offers a shelf-life of 30+ years and a reliability level that exceeds what is achievable with spinning disk and solid-state drive technology. Additionally, the LTO tape is not only reliable, but more cost effective than a spinning disk.
- Linear Tape File System Utility
- mTape ships with a simple drag-and-drop Linear Tape File System (LTFS) archiving and retrieve utility. To ensure an archive is an exact replica of your source material, the utility utilizes xxHASH64 verification. Detailed Transfer Logs are also generated with every archive.
