Product description Create, index, and repair LTFS archives for LTO tapes with YoYotta ID LTFS Software for macOS from mLogic. Compatible with mLogic mTape and mRack LTO-6, LTO-7, and LTO-8 storage devices, YoYotta ID lets you quickly create, name, format, and mount tape archives. The macOS-compatible software can also read legacy TAR-formatted tapes, allowing you to restore the data or migrate it to LTFS. Ideal for tracking production and post-production assets, YoYotta ID can verify the integrity of your archived data, as well as index your archives for easy searching. - Ideal for storing production and post-production media as the LTO tapes can be mounted and read on Linux, macOS, and Windows.
- Reads older TAR-formatted tapes, allowing you to restore the content or migrate it to LTFS-formatted tapes.
- Calculates MD5 checksums, then automatically reads back and verifies each file to ensure tape content is identical to the source material.
- Enables simultaneous archiving to two LTO tapes with mLogic mRack Dual units for enhanced data security.
- Remembers the contents of every LTO tape created, ideal for searching to find the location of shots. All media metadata is stored in a local database. An index of the project video, audio, and metadata files is also stored.
