Product description 9 Alternative Camera Supports Read More The MogoPod MK III Monopod Kit includes a medium MogoPod MK III monopod, a fluid head, a TPD-2 tripod leg stand, and a utility strap. The MogoPod is a unique monopod that has an internal steel belt drive system which makes it easy to extend from 27" to 62". There is only one twist lock which makes setup very fast. It can also be used as an extension pole by removing the rubber foot to reveal a 1/4"-20 threaded mount for attaching a GoPro or similar camera.
The included two-way fluid pan/tilt head has separate locks for the pan and tilt functions. A long handle allows for smooth pans, and a quick-release plate attaches to your camera via a 1/4"-20 threaded screw.
The TPD-2 tripod leg stand is an attachment that adds stability and versatility to the monopod. It screws onto the bottom of the MogoPod, and a built-in ball joint enables the monopod to smoothly move in all directions. The ball joint can be locked or unlocked by twisting the rubber foot at the base of the tripod stand. The legs lock automatically when they are folded down, and the spring-loaded locks can be released so the legs can be folded up with one hand. A round quick-release plate allows you to quickly attach or detach the TPD-2 tripod leg stand or other accessories. - Dual threads on the mounting platform can accept either 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 mounts, and it includes a set screw to lock your head in place.
- The soft grip material provides cushioned comfort and shock absorption.
- A female 1/4"-20 threaded mount is located on the grip, allowing you to mount the MogoPod on another support, or add accessories onto the monopod.
- Index markings allow you to easily find your preferred height.
- The adjustable strap is removable, can be attached via a D-ring for easy carrying, and it also doubles as a sling stabilizer.
