Product description The Monoprice Monolith M1060C are closed-back planar magnetic headphones designed for professional audio engineers and audiophiles. The M1060C feature a completely redesigned and re-engineered planar driver, which provides a highly detailed aural landscape with remarkable imaging, low distortion, and precise bass in a closed-back enclosure. The 106mm planar drivers can deliver a frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz. Designed for comfort in long listening sessions, the headphones feature large, faux leather earpads and a padded headband. The Monoprice Monolith M1060C include a detachable coiled cable, a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter, and a carrying case. - Planar Drivers

- The planar magnetic driver is a flat membrane that is surrounded by magnets. When current is delivered, the membrane produces sound that has low distortion, accurate bass, and pinpoint imaging.
- The planar driver in the M1060C has been completely redesigned with several enhancements, including a new symmetrical magnet structure that allows the planar driver to be much more efficient in a closed back enclosure. The result is low distortion, improved linearity, and remarkable imaging in a closed back design.
