Product description The Morley M2 Maverick Switchless Wah is a pedal which combines electro-optical circuitry with a traditional potentiometer-based design to give you a traditional-sounding switchless wah pedal. To activate this pedal, all you need to do is put your foot onto the treadle; once you release your foot, the pedal will go back into bypass mode. The pedal’s 100-kOhm potentiometer helps influence the wah’s classic tone, travel, and Q.With its True-Tone buffered bypass circuit, any signal routed through the pedal will be maintained in a pristine manner over long cable runs. The pedal utilizes a cold-rolled steel construction and provides 1/4" input and output connections for your instrument and amplifier. The M2 Maverick runs on a 9V battery or an optional 9 VDC power adapter. - Electro-Optical Circuitry
- An LED (Light Emitting Diode) shines on an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). A shutter then alters light between the two components controlling the function, and this, combined with a traditional 100-kOhm potentiometer to influence tone, travel, and Q, is the operating principle behind the M2 Maverick Switchless Wah.
