Product description Connect a variety of USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and HDMI peripherals to your compatible USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 system using the USB 3.0 Type-C Multiport Adapter from Moshi. Built using an aluminum enclosure with reinforced stress relief, this adapter uses an integrated USB Type-C cable to interface with your host system and provides one USB Type-C port, one USB Type-A port, and one HDMI 1.4b port. The USB ports support the USB 3.0 standard, also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1, at speeds up to 5 Gb/s, while the HDMI 1.4b port supports 4K output at 30 Hz and 1080p output at 60 Hz, and the USB Type-C port supports fast charging for devices such as smartphones and tablets using pass-through power up to 60W (20V / 3A). There is also support for multi-channel digital audio output on compatible devices and an integrated smart LED indicator lets you know when your computer is charged, even when it's closed.
Moshi's USB 3.0 Type-C Multiport Adapter uses DisplayPort to HDMI conversion, and the USB Type-C standard supports both HDMI and DisplayPort protocols via ALT mode. The HDMI output support HDCP, so protected content, such as Netflix or Hulu, sent through this adapter will play correctly on your display.
