Product description Whether you are running a restaurant, maintenance department, or movie set, you can count on the DLR1020 2-Way Digital Business Radio from Motorola to handle your communication needs. You can communicate across an extended range of 300,000 square feet and up to 20 floors to control your business. This radio operates in the digital 900 MHz ISM license-free band, which makes communications more private and reliable when compared to analog radios. Navigate through channels, check battery status, and customize features with user-friendly voice prompts.
Set up your radio fleet with a unique 4-digit Radio Profile ID number so you can assure private communication without interference. Computer Programming Software (CPS) lets you configure a Private Group to achieve the highest level of privacy. It also lets you personalize your channel voice prompts, channel alias names, radio name, top button, and channel number. The CPS also configures special features such as a unique Radio Profile ID, Home Channel, Mic Gain, and maximum number of channels.
Call All Available or Page All Available are flexible group communications that can reach all users currently available. The Private Reply feature allows users to instantly communicate one-to-one privately after a group transmission. Direct Call lets you easily reach a specific individual, enabling instant communication, while Home Channel designates a specific channel so the radio automatically reverts back. A Talk Permit Tone uses a prompt tone to alert team members when a channel is available so people don't step over each other's transmissions. Instant Mute helps with customer service, immediately lowering the volume to the minimum level by pressing the radio's top button.
You can customize the top programmable button with different options, such as private reply and Call All Available, to make those functions easier to access. The internal rechargeable battery allows for continuous operation of up to 14 hours. A polycarbonate housing contains built-in antimicrobial properties that inhibit the growth of bacteria and mold on the radio's surfaces. This unit conforms to Military Standards 810 C, D, E, F, and G, including shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, and dust so it can handle the bumps and bruises of the job site. - Channels and Codes
