Product description The Moultrie ATV Spreader with Push Gate is designed to mount onto an ATV and provide the ability to distribute feed or seed over a large area. It's UV, rust, and corrosion-resistant plastic hopper can accommodate 100 pounds. Feed or seed is directed towards a tapered bottom to help ensure that all of the hopper's contents are dispensed.
This spreader features a manual push gate with a lever that allows the size of the hopper's bottom opening to be continuously adjusted to control the rate and flow of the feed or seed being emptied as the connected ATV moves. Below the hopper's bottom opening is a spin plate that helps to guarantee that the contents of the hopper is broken up and evenly distributed. The spin plate's motor is powered using an included wire harness with an on and off switch that provides the ability to connect to a 12V dashboard socket or directly to an ATV battery using alligator clips.
The Moultrie ATV Spreader with Push Gate's mounting brackets allows it to attach to most ATV models. A ratchet strap increases stability and a removable, abrasion-resistant deflector shield helps protect the rear of a connected ATV.
This ATV spreader also features a quick-release mechanism that allows the hopper to be removed with minimal effort. This promotes easy cleaning, adjustment of the bracket assembly, as well as the installation of hopper accessories such as a Moultrie Spreader Screen that prevents clogging due to clumping of the hopper contents.
