Product description Keep wildlife feeding simple and reliable with the Moultrie Pro Magnum Hanging Barrel Feeder, which is great for uneven or heavily wooded terrain. The included metal bar enables it to be hung easily with almost any cable, rope, or chain. This design, coupled with the built-in varmint guard, keeps pesky birds, squirrels, and raccoons from raiding the feeder. The Pro Magnum features a capacity of 30 gallons, which means it can hold over 200 lb of goods.
A digital timer programs up to 6 feeding times per day, each of which lasts for 1 to 20 sec. Additionally, the Pro Magnum offers a feed-level estimator. It runs on a required 6V battery, and is equipped with a dual-slot compartment to allow for the addition of a second battery for extended operating time. A battery indicator lets you keep an eye on how much juice the cells have left. As a bonus, an external power port and connectors for a solar panel provide additional power options. Made for durability, the unit has an all-metal housing, barrel, funnel, and spinning plate with raised edges to shield feed against the wind.
