Product description Comfortably transport, store and protect your gear with the barley Tanuck 40L Backpack from Mountainsmith. The pack is designed by legendary photographer, Chris Burkard and features a spacious main compartment that is compatible with and able to hold Mountainsmith's Kit Cube & Tanuck 10L. This modular approach is useful for taking side trips with less gear, and as a storage option. A rear padded, zippered compartment can accommodate a laptop up to 17". The front of the pack unzips on three sides to reveal two zippered, clear-mesh pockets under the lid and a hydration bladder sleeve with exit port. The removable top lid helps keep contents protected and has a hook closure.
Dual side accessory pockets have drawstring closures and may be used for water bottles, similarly-sized items or the base of a tripod. Three removable compression straps may be used for attaching gear. Additional gear may be secured with the M.O.L.L.E. side attachment panel. Wear the Tanuck 40L Backpack with the padded shoulder harness, chest connector, and adjustable, padded waist belt. The Airmesh back panel helps cushion your back and improve cooling airflow. A full rain cover is stored inside the zippered base of the pack. For strength and durability, the pack is constructed from 610D Cordura nylon, 630D nylon carbonate, and 210D liner, with YKK zippers, EVA and high-density PE foam. - Back panel access compartment for a laptop up to 17"

- Removable top lid clips into shoulder strap mounted D-Rings for chest mount camera carry for instant access while active and mobile
- Side panel MOLLE style webbing for custom accessory attachments
- Side compression straps w/ D-Ring attachment points
- Three removable compression straps for accessory carry and load stabilization
- Removable rain cover in zippered base panel pocket
- Interior hydration bladder sleeve with exit port
- Two side panel pockets hold water bottles, light stands, tripods, accessories, etc.
- Haul bag style, weather-resistant base panel allows pack to stand up to allow increased usability and access
