User manual for the Movcam DSMC2 Base Kit contain basic instructions

Product description Consisting of the Multi-Function Top Plate, Hot-Swap Adapter, LEMO Adapter, Side Bracket, DSMC2 Baseplate, 9" Dovetail, and a pair of 15mm rods, the Movcam DSMC2 Base Kit enhances your DSMC2 cinema camera's usability on set. The Multi-Function Top Plate and LEMO Adapter fit seamlessly over the DSMC2 design and offer I/O connections for video output over LEMO, HDMI, and SDI as well as AUX power outputs. The LEMO adapter adds an additional monitor terminal for a touch display. Securing to the rear of the DSMC2 camera body, the Hot-Swap Adapter serves as a mounting platform for separately available battery plates. It also can hold backup batteries for continuously powering the camera during battery swaps. Accessory mounting is handled by the side bracket, which has tapped 1/4"-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes, and the LWS Baseplate, which secures the included 15mm rods. For balancing your rig atop a fluid head, a dovetail is provided. - Multifunction Top Plate for RED Weapon, Scarlet-W, and Raven The Multifunction Top Plate from Movcam is designed for use with RED Weapon, RED Raven, and RED Scarlet digital cinema cameras. Besides having a stock fan opening and many 1/4"-20 threads for accessories, the Multifunction Top Plate offers I/O connections via Touch A and Touch B for video output over LEMO, HDMI, and SDI, as well as AUX power outputs. The Top Plate also offers mounting points for the Movcam top handle as well as the stock top handle.

- 1 x HDMI Output for simultaneous operation with top pogo EVF port
- 1 x Start/Stop: 3-pin Fischer in use with OEM RED Trigger Handle
- Touch A for pogo pin mounted EVF/LCD monitors
- Touch B LEMO adapter for legacy viewfinder cable input
- Toggle switch for Touch A or Touch B as only one output can be active with the top plate
- Retractable HD-SDI pins to connect with Movcam Hot Swap Adapter
- Retractable D-Tap to connect with either RED I/O Expander or Movcam Hot Swap Adapter
- DSMC2 Hot Swap Adapter for RED WEAPON, EPIC-W, SCARLET-W and RAVEN The DSMC2 Hot Swap Adapter from Movcam allows for continuous battery operation when using the RED WEAPON, EPIC-W, SCARLET-W, and RAVEN cameras. Securing to the rear of the DSMC2 camera body, the Hot Swap Adapter serves as a mounting platform for separately available battery plates. It can also hold backup batteries for continuously powering the camera during battery swaps. The DSMC2 Hot Swap Adapter requires three 18650 Li-ion batteries (sold separately).
