Product description At the heart of the Movcam 3-Axis System sits the MCS-1 Hand Control Unit. Focus, iris, and zoom can be controlled independently with the handwheel, slider, and pressure-sensitive rocker. Using the license-free 2.4 GHz band, the hand unit can communicate with the receiver from up to 660' away in ideal line-of-sight situations. Dominating the front surface of the unit is a 3.7" touchscreen which shows real-time lens data and is also used for lens data entry and menu settings. Lens data for popular lenses is already programmed into the unit. Information for lenses not already built-in can be manually programmed into the unit by the user using the touchscreen and stored on an SD card for instant recall on any compatible device. - Daylight-viewable 3.7" OLED touchscreen for data entry and real-time display of lens and system data
- Wireless start/stop control for ARRI, Sony, and RED, as well as cameras compatible with the LANC protocol
- EF lens control with RED cameras using an electronic EF mount
- Pre-programmed lens data and custom lens mapping, store lens data on an SD card for instant recall
- Hardware remote cable connection for wired operation
- Pressure-sensitive zoom control
- Programmable lens end-stops
- Backlit handwheel and function buttons
- Operates on separately available Sony NP-F550 or NP-F570 batteries
