Product description The Movcam Twist Cage Kit plus Access for Sony a7 II / a7R II / a7S II includes a LWS Base Plate, Riser Block, Cage, Lens Mount Support, Twist Handle, and an HDMI Cable Bracket.
The LWS Base Plate is a lightweight support for the Sony a7S camera. The Riser Block is a rig component designed to connect the a7 cage to a 15mm rod baseplate. It also elevates the camera to a suitable height for the use of accessories such as a follow focus or matte box.
The Cage for Sony a7 II, a7R II, and a7S II is designed to serve as the foundation point for your camera rig. Compatible with Sony's a7 II series, the cage adds a durable aluminum frame around the camera while maintaining access to control buttons, battery and SD card compartments, I/O connectors, and the Multi Interface Shoe.
When used with the required spacer, the adjustable Lens Mount Support relieves pressure from the camera's lens mount by reinforcing the lens from below. The Twist Handle is a quick release top handle designed for use with Movcam's a7 II-series cage, to which it attaches via an included short NATO rail. Once attached, the handle can be rotated by loosening a top thumbscrew, letting you set the desired grip angle/position. - LWS Base Plate for Sony A7S The LWS Base Plate from Movcam is a lightweight support base plate for the Sony A7S digital camera. In order to mount the A7S Cage to the LWS, a Riser Block (sold separately) is required.
- Riser Block for Sony A7II/A7RII/A7SII Cameras The Movcam Riser Block for Sony A7II/A7RII/A7SII Cameras is a rig component designed to connect the A7 cage to a 15mm rod baseplate. It also elevates the camera to a suitable height for the use of accessories such as a follow focus or matte box. Additionally, the block features two locks which control both the top and bottom clamps, and an adjustable lens support screw for relieving stress from the lens mount.
- Cage for Sony a7 II, a7R II, and a7S II The Cage for Sony a7 II, a7R II, and a7S II from Movcam is designed to serve as the foundation point for your camera rig. Compatible with Sony's a7 II, a7R II, and a7S II, the cage adds a durable aluminum frame around the camera while maintaining access to control buttons, battery and SD card compartments, I/O connectors, and the Multi Interface Shoe. An integrated plate at the bottom of the cage allows you to attach an optional Riser Block, which enables further attachment to Movcam's 15mm LWS Baseplate to expand your camera rig. To hold and transport the rig, optional top handles are available.
For accessory attachment, 1/4"-20 threaded holes are provided on the top and sides of the cage. Because the camera's Multi Interface Shoe remains accessible, the cage is fully compatible with Sony's optional XLR-K2M XLR Adapter and other MIS accessories. Thanks to its top shoe mount, the cage is also compatible with Sony's XLR-K1M XLR Adapter. Included with the cage is an HDMI cable bracket to help prevent your HDMI cable from accidentally coming unplugged during your shoot. - Key Features

The support is adjustable in height and is designed to fit most lenses compatible with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera.
- Twist Handle for Select Movcam Cages The Movcam Twist Handle is a quick-release top handle designed for use with Movcam's GH5 and a7 II-series camera cages, attaching to the cage via an included short NATO rail. Once attached, the handle can be rotated by loosening a top thumbscrew, letting you set the desired grip angle/position. Tightening the screw locks the handle in place. For accessory mounting, the handle features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes, a single 15mm rod port, and two shoe mounts (one in front and one in back of handle).
