Product description This Movcam Universal LWS Base Plate with Arca-Swiss QR Mechanism mounts on ARRI compatible dovetail plates and accepts Arca-Swiss compatible camera plates. It incorporates individual locking levers for the Arca-Swiss and ARRI plates. It features lightweight magnesium construction and 15mm LWS rod clamps. The rod clamps use spring-loaded locking levers, which allow you to tighten or loosen the clamps even when you don't have room to turn the levers to their full rotation.
The base plate also features an adjustable lens support that helps lessen the stress on your camera's lens mount when using large or heavy lenses. The lens support adjustment allows you to compensate for lenses with different diameters.
