Product description Work Laptops Built with NVIDIA Quadro Pascal series graphics and VR-ready performance for professionals who need a portable system to take their work on the go, the 15.6" WS65 8SK-476 Mobile Workstation from MSI is powered by a 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7-8950HK Six-Core processor, which allows you to run multiple applications simultaneously. If you need more power, the system can be overclocked to 4.8 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The 32GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM, which comes in a 2 x 16GB configuration, helps to ensure smooth multitasking and allows the computer to quickly access frequently used files and programs.
The 15.6" IPS display features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, MSI's True Color technology with 72% NTSC coverage, and a thin bezel. The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P3200 graphics card has 6GB of discrete GDDR5 RAM and delivers a sharp, clear picture. You'll also be able to output video to a maximum of three external displays at resolutions up to 4K @ 60 Hz using the system's HDMI port, mini DisplayPort, and DisplayPort via Thunderbolt 3.
For long-term storage of your files, the WS65 8SK is equipped with a 512GB NVMe PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD. If you want to add external storage, optical drives, memory card readers, and more, the system is equipped with one 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port that also supports 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2, as well as three 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports. Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) are built-in for wired and wireless networking, and Bluetooth 5.0 technology will also allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals. There is also a 720p webcam, an integrated mic, and dual 2W speakers.
The 15.6" WS65 8SK-476 Mobile Workstation includes a 180W AC adapter and 4-cell / 82Wh lithium-ion polymer battery that lasts for up to 8 hours before recharging is required. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Professional (64-bit). General Features - Professional VR Ready
